It's great that they have come at a time where a few local SME's are slowly being more mindful of their sustainability and ethical responsibility in light of the impending climate crisis. It's also interesting to hear how gradual realisations through learning about the manufacturing and supply chains can lead to sustainable fashion and ethical consumer choices. ⠀
⠀
⁣Elise and ⁣Brittanie also shared one of the outcomes of the Social Enterprise Workshop they held earlier in the week. Local companies have promised to take one small step for business transparency and ethnical consumerism by having labels on their garments. Labels to show where the products are manufactured, washing instructions and the types of materials. This in turn can educate consumers to be more mindful of their future choices. ⠀

  • I’m going to be super biased and say only Seeds Brunei could pull off Phantom of the Opera in Brunei on a stage that has probably never seen an opera. It’s truly a mature theatrical performance which is in keeping with @seedsbrunei 10th anniversary. As an audience member expect to go through a range of emotions, the intense dynamic between the leads and powerful lead performances accompanied by the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. The costume changes and detail was great, especially for a production that’s supposed to be set in the early 20th century Paris. I would be patient with the small technical issues and appreciate the effort from all the volunteers for the monumental production - props, set, and all the backstage production crew were on point. For a unique theatre experience watch the final two shows today (Sunday) at 2pm & 7pm. #seedsbrunei #seedsmoto #seeds10 #STANSEEDS

On the food front the homegrown brand has reverted to their original fries and milkshake flavours. Ok it’s pretty close to how it tasted (thinking back a decade or more ago ) ⠀

The press release also states that the new look
